WOLLONGONG, Thursday. — Because Bulli District Hospital did not have sufficient staff to maintain all beds, three patients for appendix operations could not be admitted this week. The secretary (Mr. C. R. Veigel) told a meeting of the board last night that the staff was working many hours overtime. If the shortage continued the nursing staff would break down in health. It was decided to ask clergymen in the district to appeal from the pulpits for suitable girls for nursing.
